As a student of drumming and percussion, he has studied under Kirk Covington of Tribal Tech,and Joey Heredia an L.A. session player. Matthew is influenced by many styles such as Cuban music, Brazillian, Rock, and Fusion. He has been playing drums for over twenty years now. Matt has done various session work in the L.A. area with the likes of Greg Leon, Narrow Intersesion, Mozane, and currently a member of Cripple Need Cane. Matt lives in Burbank Ca. with his wife and two children and attends New Life Mission Church (PCA), in Burbank Ca. Catch Matt this year writing for "Monday MorningCoffee."
