Matthew Fallentine

Bassist / Vocalist

Matthew has been close friends with Guy and Gary since 1987 where they met while they were being produced by the same executive producer. Matthew at that time was the vocalist for the group "American Ladds." In fact, Matthew actually sings along with Guy on the backup vocals on the chart smashing "You Get What You Pray For" off Tourniquets debut album. Matthew is a great song writer and excels at bass, guitar, keyboards, producing and especially vocals. He has written songs for Integrity Music, and was a producer of the 10/40 Window Praise & Worship album "Shine Your Light Thru the Window." Songs from this album are being sung in churches all over the world.

Matthew works full time on staff at New Life Church in Colorado Spgs., Colorado, a thriving missions outreach. At New Life, he works as the worship leader for their T.A.G High School group, and also is the band director for all services and music programs. He is a part of the main service worship leading rotation as well. He and his wife Elaine have, 2 boys Luke and Nicholas, and a new daughter Lauren. In November of 1997, Matthew gained a new brother-in-law when Guy Ritter married Matthew's sister Christin! Matthew, Gary and Guy's brother Brian, were Guy's best men. Despite all of the blizzards, everyone made it to Colorado alright, as well as Victor Macias, Tourniquet's former signature bassist.
